The Artist Bashar Al-Hroub was born in Jerusalem in 1978.
He holds a BA in Fine Arts from An-Najah University in Nablus in 2001 and received a master’s degree from the University of Winchester in 2010.
Art to him is the relentless insistence on resistance and life itself.
His artworks are based on realism, therefore raises questions between the viewer and the work, which creates interaction that gives the art depth. What distinguishes his artworks is the use of animals as a symbol, which gives his paintings a wonderful visual amalgamation.
He presented himself in a contemporary way that the world would understand and believe. It simulates reality through a visual form that is compatible with what is presented in this universe and its concepts.
His Palestinian environment played a huge role in his success, as the cause that lies behind the work is very important to know and understand the artwork. His dreams and his life are his thoughts, He does not need to borrow his ideas from the lives of others, there is enough in his environment to suffices him and fill his visual need.
Al-Harb works with several techniques, the most important of which are drawing, posters, graffiti, and video.

In 2012 he received one of the most important awards for visual arts in Asia, he received the first place at the Asian Art Biennale, which was organized in Bangladesh. More than 300 artists from 48 countries participated in this biennale.
Al Hroub participated with the work “outside the frame”, which is a photographic artwork contemporary composition. In it, he talks about life in Palestine in a symbolic way. It is worth noting that he is the first Palestinian artist to ever win this award since its inception.

حاصل على شهادة البكالوريوس في الفنون الجميلة من جامعة النجاح في نابلس عام 2001 . و حصل على درجة الماجستير من جامعة وينشستر عام 2010 .
الفن بالنسبة له هو الاصرار الحثيث على المقاومة و الحياة نفسها . يعتمد في اعماله الفنية بشكل غير مطلق على الواقعية ، بحيث يثير الأسئلة بين المشاهد و العمل . مما يخلق تفاعل يجعل العمل الفني اكثر عمقا . و اكثر ما يميز اعمال الحروب هو استخدامه الحيوانات كرمز . مما يجعل في لوحاته دمج بصري رائع .
فقد طرح نفسه بشكل معاصر يتفهمه العالم و يصدقه . فهو يحاكي الواقع من خلال شكل بصري يتناسب مع ما هو مطروح في هذا الكون من مفهوم و منطلق قضيته و عالمه . ساعدته بيئته الفلسطينية على التميز و بالطبع القضية التي تقع خلف العمل مهمة جدا لمعرفة و فهم العمل الفني . فأحلامه و حياته هي افكاره . فهو لا يحتاج ان يستعير افكاره من حيوات الأخرين ، ففي بيئته ما يكفيه و يسد حاجنه البصرية .
يعمل الحروب بعدة تقنيات اهمها الرسم و البوستر و الجرافيتي و الفيديو . و من اهم معارضه الفنية 2020 معرض ( حديقة صامتة ) في جاليري زاوية في رام الله .
2020 معرض ( عينات ) في متحف بول فاليري في باريس .
2018 معرض ( بين الرغبة و الحرب ) تم عرضه في رام الله و دبي و باريس .
في عام 2012 حصل على اهم جائزة للفنون البصرية على مستوى اسيا . حيث حصد الجائزة الاولى في بينالي الفن الأسيوي الخامس عشر . الذي نظم في دولة بنغلادش . حيث شارك اكثر من 300 فنان من 48 دولة . و قد شارك الحروب بعمل ( خارج الاطار ) و هو عمل فني فوتوغرافي تركيبي معاصر . يتحدث فيه عن الحياة في فلسطين بصورة رمزية . و الجدير بالذكر انه اول فنان فلسطيني يفوز بهذه الجائزة منذ انطلاقها .
