Artist born in Fasuta (Upper Galilee) in 1975
He studied fine arts at Haifa University and obtained a master’s degree in 2009. He obtained an artistic residency at the Florence Academy of Art – Italy in 2005.
His artistic style is characterized by hyper-realism. He executes his paintings so perfectly that the painting is closer to a photograph than a drawing.
In 2021, he participated in a double exhibition with artist Samah Shohdi / in the (Tabari) Gallery of Fine Art in Dubai. The exhibition included 30 pictures and paintings that reflect the artists’ vision about the Palestinian heritage and its present and future. Through this exhibition, Hallaq succeeded in transforming the photograph into a painting that was replica of the image. He makes the viewer compare the two, in the real picture people’s features can’t be changed. However, in the painting he drew the same place he took pictures of but with the freedom to manipulate faces by drawing a smile, happiness and joy.
In the year 2021, he participated in the group exhibition (Haifa Road) in the Haifa Museum / Palestine. The exhibition included more than 40 paintings by several artists.
He received many awards, the most important of which is the award of the Ministry of Culture and Sports for the Contemporary Artist in 2015 and the Young Artist Award 2010 in Haifa.
الفنان ميخائيل حلاق مواليد فسوطة ( الجليل الاعلى ) عام 1975
درس الفنون الجميلة في جامعة حيفا و حصل على درجة الماجستير عام 2009 . حصل على اقامة فنية في اكاديمية فلورنسا للفنون – ايطاليا عام 2005 .
يتميز اسلوبه الفني بالواقعية المفرطة .حيث ينفذ لوحاته بشكل مثالي لدرجة ان تكون اللوحة اقرب للصورة الفوتوغرافية من الرسم .
في عام 2021 شارك في معرض مزدوج مع الفنانة سماح شهدي / في جاليري ( طبري ) للفن التشكيلي في دبي . ضم المعرض 30 صورة و لوحة تعكس رؤية الفنانين حول التراث الفلسطيني و الحخاضر و المستقبل . حيث نجح حلاق من خلال هذا المعرض في تحويل الصورة الفوتوغرافية الى لوحة فنية طبق الاصل عن الصورة . لكنه يجعل المشاهد يقارن بين الاثنتين ، فالصورة الواقعية لا يمكن ان يغير فيها من ملامح الناس شيئا . اما اللوحة التي رسمها لنفس المكان الذي التقط صورا له فمنحه حرية التلاعب في الوجوه عبر رسم الابتسامة و السعادة و الفرح .
في العام 2021 شارك في المعرض الجماعي ( طريق حيفا ) في متحف حيفا / فلسطين . حيث ضم المعرض اكثر من 40 لوحة فنية لعدة فنانين .
حصل على العديد من الجوائز اهمها جائزة وزارة الثقافة و الرياضة للفنان المعاصر عام 2015 . و جائزة الفنان الشباب عام 2010 في حيفا .
