Ibrahim Al-Nubani Artist born in Acre in 1961.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts from the Betsalel Academy of Art and Design in Jerusalem. He participated in many group exhibitions inside and outside the country. He has many of his art works in local and international museums. The most important of them being the Palestine Museum / Birzeit.
His artistic ideas revolve around identity and existence. Moreover, we see in all his works the elements of the continuous search for the lost identity of a Palestinian artist who lives among the Israelis with a reality imposed on him by the occupation after his family was displaced in 1948 from their original villages.
His artistic style is characterized by abstraction that does not represent any kind of direct documentation of the political situation indicated by his paintings. His paintings bear symbols that impose their ability to convey the message that the artist intends from every work of art. His symbols including broad lines and dark colors enable the viewer to see the rebellion against reality in his artistic paintings.
One of his most important solo art exhibitions. Exhibition (Dreams Machine) 2019 at Zawya Gallery / Ramallah. Exhibition (Black Hole Obscuring the Sun) 2016 in the Palestinian Art Court / Jerusalem. And (Love Leaves) exhibition in 2012 at Gallery Basel / Tel Aviv.
One of his most important works, participating in group exhibitions, is the painting (Jerusalem in Danger), which was shown in 2018 in the exhibition (Jerusalem 51 Years of Occupation) in Zawiya Gallery / Ramallah and in 2022 during Art Dubai in Gallery One.
الفنان ابراهيم النوباني مواليد عكا عام 1961 . حاصل على بكالوريوس فنون من اكاديمية بتساليل للفن و التصميم في القدس . شارك في العديد من المعارض الجماعية داخل و خارج الوطن . له العديد من المقتنيات في المتاحف المحلية و الدولية . اهمها متحف فلسطين / بيرزيت .
تدور افكار لوحاته الفنية حول الهوية و الوجود . حيث نرى بجميع اعماله عناصر البحث المستمرة عن الهوية المفقودة لفنان فلسطيني يعيش بين الاسرائيليين بواقع فرضه عليه الاحتلال بعد ان تهجرت عائلته عام 1948 من قراهم الاصلية .
يتميز اسلوبه الفني بالتجريدية التي لاتحل اي نوع من التوثيق المباشر للوضع السياسي الذي تدل عليه لوحاته . فتحمل لوحاته رموز تفرض قدرتها على ايصال الرسالة التي يقصدها الفنان من كل عمل فني .فرموزه الممثلة بالخطوط العريضة و الالوان الداكنة تمكن المشاهد من رؤية التمرد على الواقع في لوحاته الفنية .
من اهم معارضه الفنية الفردية . معرض ( مكنة احلام ) عام 2019 في جاليري زاوية / رام الله . معرض ( ثقب اسود يحجب الشمس ) عام 2016 في حوش الفن الفلسطيني / القدس . و معرض ( اوراق حب ) عام 2012 في جاليري بازل / تل ابيب .
و من اهم اعماله المشاركة في معارض جماعية هي لوحة ( القدس في خطر ) و التي عرضت عام 2018 في معرض ( القدس 51 عاما على الاحتلال ) في جاليري زاوية / رام الله . و عام 2022 خلال معرض ارت دبي في جاليري ون .
