Taqi Spateen :
Artist Taqi Spateen was born in Husan in 1988.
He obtained a bachelors degree in Fine Arts from the International Academy of Contemporary Arts in Ramallah in 2012. Taqi started painting murals on the Apartheid Wall in Bethlehem at the beginning of 2017. He aims to deliver a message to the world that the Palestinian people symbolize struggle and resistance, while focusing on the role of art and the significant role it plays in liberation processes, which are no less importance than armed resistance.
His artistic style leans towards realism, as he draws inspiration for his artistic paintings from the sanctity and beautiful scenery of the Palestinian countryside. In his artworks, he uses Palestinian symbols such as olive tree and key of return.
Taqi participated in several individual and group exhibitions locally and internationally, some of the most important: –
He won several awards, the most recent of which was in 2022 when he won second place in the art competition held annually by the gallery of the Walled Off Hotel, which that year was named (Unexpected).
الفنان تقي سباتين مواليد حوسان عام 1988
حاصل على درجة البكالوريوس في الفنون الجميلة من الاكاديمية الدولية للفنون المعاصرة في مدينة رام الله عام 2012 . بدأ برسم الجداريات على جدار الفصل العنصري في بيت لحم بداية عام 2017 . حيث يهدف بذلك لايصال رسالة للعالم بان الشعب الفلسطيني هو رمز للكفاح و المقاومة . و كذلك التركيز على دور الفن الذي يلعب دورا مهما في عمليات التحرر ، و التي لا تقل اهمية عن المقاومة المسلحة .
يتميز اسلوبه الفني بالواقعية ، فهو يستلهم افكار لوحاته الفنية من قدسية و نعم الريف الفلسطيني . يستخدم في اعماله الفنية الرموز الفلسطينية كشجرة الزيتون و مفاتيح العودة .
شارك في عدة معارض فردية و جماعية محليا و دوليا .. اهمها :-
و قد حصل على عدة جوائز احدثها عام 2022 .. فقد حاز على المرتبة الثانية في المسابقة الفنية التي يقيمها جاليري وولد اوف سنويا و التي كانت هذا العام تحت عنوان ( غير المتوقع ) .
