Artist Yazan Abu Salama, born in Jerusalem in 1993.
He holds a diploma in Fine Arts from Dar Al-Kalima University in 2011. During his undergraduate studies, he participated in several exhibitions locally and internationally. He has taught art at several community centers.
He uses various media such as paper, cement, Lego cubes and cardboard in his artworks. What distinguishes his paintings is the repetition circle shape, and how it’s used in a different way each time.
He participated in two group exhibitions at the Walled Off Hotel Gallery in 2018 and 2019. And he won the third prize in the competition “Let’s Make It Light”, which gave him the opportunity to exhibit in Italy in a group exhibition held in cooperation with the Municipality of Turin in 2019.
In 2020, he participated in the Ramallah Art Exhibition at Zawya Gallery.
In 2021, he held a solo exhibition entitled “The Cement Sky” at Zawya Gallery in Dubai.
In 2020, he held a virtual exhibition entitled “Bending Towards the Sun” at Zawya Gallery in Ramallah.

حاصل على درجة الدبلوم تخصص فنون تشكيلية من جامعة دار الكلمة عام 2011 . شارك خلال دراسته الجامعية في عدة معارض محليا و دوليا . قام بتدريس الفن في عدة مراكز مجتمعية .
يستخدم وسائط متعددة مثل الورق ، الاسمنت ، مكعبات الليجو و الكرتون في اعماله الفنية . ما يميز لوحاته هو تكرار شكل الدائرة و توظيفها بشكل مختلف في كل مرة .
شارك في معرضين جماعيين في جاليري فندق وولد اوف عام 2018 و 2019 . و فاز بالجائزة الثالثة في مسابقة ( لنجعلها تضيء ) التي اتيحت له العرض في ايطاليا في معرض جماعي اقيم بالتعاون مع بلدية تورينو في عام 2019 . و شارك عام 2020 في معرض رام الله للفنون في جاليري زاوية .
في العام 2021 اقام معرضا فرديا بعنوان ( السماء الاسمنتية ) في جاليري زاوية في دبي . و عام 2020 اقام معرضا افتراضيا بعنوان ( الانحناء نحو الشمس ) في جاليري زاوية في رام الله .
