Ziad Yousef:
Artist born in Jerusalem in 1983.
He holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Jordan. He has many technical and artistic experiences especially in the field of printing. He worked on many artistic and cultural projects with many local and international artists.
His artistic style is distinguished by the variety of techniques in the field of silk-screen printing, wood engraving, and leninium he uses in order to reflect the ideas that he highlights through his artworks in terms of the historical narrative of the Palestinian cultural heritage. It also focuses on postage stamps and posters.
He was the general manager of Birzeit University Museum for the years 2018 and 2019 and is a member of the administration of the museum until today. He is also a Member of the administrative board of each of the Mahatta Gallery / Ramallah and the Folk Arts Center. He also works as a production consultant for some Palestinian artists.
In 2018, he held his first solo exhibition in Gallery One / Ramallah entitled (Palm, Eye), an exhibition related to folklore and symbols. He used in his gallery artistic design and typography in addition to sculpting and painting on glass. The number of works he has is 24, and each work has a story. The colors of the works varied according to the nature of the places, people or entities that they symbolize. The main idea of the exhibition talks about amulets the most famous being (the palm and the eye).
Among his most famous artworks, the black stamp and the golden stamp are silk-screen printings. This work was produced for a writing exhibition (Postcards for Jerusalem), which was hosted by the Palestinian Art Court – Al Hosh – Jerusalem. It was later sold at a public auction in Dar El-Nimer – Beirut, the Visual Arts Forum auction – Ramallah and public auction at Keyword Palestine, Beirut, 2018. The postage stamp symbolizes the period of the British Mandate over Palestine, It is a copy of the original postage stamp.

حاصل على بكالوريوس فنون جميلة من الاردن . لديه العديد من الخبرات التقنية و الفنية . خاصة في مجال الطباعة بانواعها . عمل في العديد من النشاطات الفنية و الثقافية مع العديد من الفنانين المحليين و العالميين .
يمتاز اسلوبه الفني بتعدد التقنيات في مجال الطباعة الحريرية و الحفر على الخشب و اللينينيوم . حتى تعكس الافكار التي يبرزها الفنان من خلال اعماله الفنية من ناحية السرد التاريخي للموروث الثقافي الفلسطيني . كما يركز في موضوعاته على الطوابع البريدية و البوسترات .
كان مدير عام متحف جامعة بيرزيت لعام 2018 و 2019 . و هو عضو هيئة ادارية في المتحف حتى الان . عضو هيئة ادارية لكل من جاليري المحطة / رام الله . و مركز الفنون الشعبية . و هو ايضا مستشار انتاج لبعض الفنانين الفلسطنيين .
في 2018 اقام معرضه الفردي الاول في جاليري وان / رام الله . بعنوان ( كف ، عين ) و هو معرض متعلق بالموروث الشعبي و الرموز . استخدم في معرضه التصميم الفني و الطباعة . اضافة الى النحت و الرسم على الزجاج . عدد الاعمال 24 و لكل عمل حكاية . تنوعت الوان الأعمال بحسب طبيعة الأماكن او الأشخاص او الكيانات التي ترمز لها . الفكرة الاساسية للمعرض تتحدث عن التمائم التي من اشهرها ( الكف و العين ) .
من اشهر اعماله الفنية ،، الطابع الاسود و الطابع الذهبي و هم بتقنية الطباعة الحريرية . و قد انتج هذا العمل لمعرض مكتوب ( بطاقات بريدية للقدس ) حيث استضافته محكمة الفن الفلسطيني – الحوش – القدس . كما بيعت في مزاد علني في دار النمر – بيروت . و مزاد ملتقة الفنون البصرية – رام الله . و مزاد علني keyword Palestine بيروت عام 2018 . يحاكي الطابع البريدي لفترة الانتداب البريطاني على فلسطين . و هو نسخة من الطابع البريدي الأصلي .
